HOW DOES IT WORK?
Red Light Therapy (RLT) is a fast-growing technology with over 5000 studies, treating a multitude of conditions that require stimulation of healing, in return produces astounding benefits!
Light Therapy is designed to treat all skin types, but especially beneficial to patients that suffer from sun damage, scars, wrinkles, skin disorders, arthritis, pain and post-surgical healing times.
Although the skin is the organ that is naturally exposed to light more than any other organ, it still responds and greatly benefits to red light therapy.
The photons are absorbed by mitochondrial chromophores in skin cells. Consequently, electron transport, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) nitric oxide release, blood flow, reactive oxygen species increase and diverse signaling pathways get activated. ATP = energy which fuels the processes in human cells.
